ULA'S DIARY.
I had many people talk to me about my page, and as so far it seemed to have been a good idea. I decided to extend it and so I introduce Ula's Diary. This month I launch this page.
Expression of the month
* That's wishful thinking. This expression means that I want something to happen but it is obvious it will never happen.
My sister just got back from a world trip, but she wants to go on a trip again. I say wishful thinking!
Flower of the month
* It has gotta be pumpkin,It isn't a flower but adorned with autumn leaves makes a nice arrangement. Shops are full of orange and black decorations. And the autumn colors are not ready yet. Miniature pumpkins are not so delicious but make cute table centre pieces.

Worksheet of the month
Edgar Alan Poe.
* He was famous for writing horror stories. Several had been made into movies. I am sure that Mr.Poe had no idea that when he published The Narrative of A Gordon Pym in 1838- it would actually come true 50 years later. Amazingly enough main character was called richard Parker, and yeah so was the victim.
Write a mini play for this story.
* October 10th marks the independence of Fiji after 96 years of British Rule. Investigate where is Fiji, draw a Fijian Flag, and check out how do Fijians greet people- BULLA!!!
* Christopher Columbus was a sailor navigator. At 2am, on October 12th 1492, a land was spotted from a board of ship 'PINTA'. That land was Spain. That day becomes Spain's National day. Create a mini quiz about Spain. Here is a starting question ; What unusual sport is Spain famous for? Are there any Female matadors? Draw a matador costume?
* Sydney Opera House is an amazing Building designed by a Swedish architect. It was opened in October 1973. It took 16 years to complete and it cost 105 million dollars. How much yen is this? How many 10,000 yen notes would you need to have this money?
The worls is full of amazing things.
