MAKING THE MOST OF JAPAN AS A RESIDENT OR A TOURIST
My name is ULA GORSKI-AO. I provide English Speaking Services. Most of my customers are native Japanese. I translate to English, do speech coaching and private/group English lessons. Please feel free to visit the Japanese web page. The link will direct you to my profile and the services provided in Japanese. This year I decided to branch out and extend some services to local non-native residents or visiting foreign tourists.
My first introduction to
Japan goes a long way back to my pre University days, when I become an
exchange student to Japan. That's when my interest in the country of
the Rising Sun was originally sparked up. I graduated as a fully
qualified English Teacher from Australian Catholic University in
Melbourne. I followed to earn my Post Graduate Bachelor of Education
Degree with Melbourne University and finally was granted a proficiency
certificate in Japanese from Monash University in Melbourne. I spent
next 25 years teaching LOTE ( Japanese,Polish and ESL) with variety of
institutions mostly privately based.
My interest and experience in LOTE and TESL/TEFL has granted me a guest speaker invitation to several language conventions and conferences both at the national and international arena.
Since I have been living in Japan I worked as an English/Japanese as Foreign Language Teacher at Seirei Junior and Senior High Schools and currently in Hikarigaoka Girls'High School in Okazaki.
While in Japan, I have
mastered the art of kimono dressing with Kojima Sensei in Osaka. I
also practice Aikido.
I realize that many visiting tourists are fascinated by the kimono way. Stimulated by this natural interest I provide some "must-do-in-Japan" activities. There are several tourist companies organizing similiar activities, but we are UNIQUE in a way we INDIVIDUALLY attend to YOUR PERSONAL needs and wishes. In other words, you can try tea ceremony or even visit a martial art dojo and try out with a qualified teacher. Your imagination is the limit.
